September 13-17

Mon. 9/13- Today in class we organized our notebooks for our notebook check tomorrow.  I stressed with the students that they WERE NOT to remove the papers from last weeks notebook check but they were adding to that notebook.  (They should have 19 items in their notebook total).

We worked on the Oceans Continents and Globes work in groups today.  In all classes we were working on the Where Am I section.  We will finish this tomorrow.

Homework-  Notebook check #2  
                     True False Geography review-  use geography definitions and notes
                      Correct City, State, Country Continent Quiz for 1/2 credit-  only students who made a  100   
                      do not have to correct.

Tuesday- Today in class we checked notebooks
               Finished Oceans Continents and Globes
               Topoquest Map Activity
               I collected Corrected quizzes and True False Geo. review

Homework-  Topoquest matching- Use the sheets given in class today

Wed.  Today in class -Collect Topoquest Matching
           Do Review Sheet in Class
          Play Family Feud to Review for the Test

Homework- Study for the Test

Thurs.  Today in class Geography Test
            After Test, the students will be working on the Constitution Scavenger Hunt

Homework-  Current Event Option This would be a good night to do one since they have no other written homework-  Corrections to Topoquest Matching for 1/2 credit if needed.

Fri-  Today in class-  We are staying with our homerooms today for Early Release-  We will have an Assembly this morning for the dedication of our Freedom Shrine in conjuntion with Constitution Week.
Students will be taking their Science Test through their Homerooms.  Any extra time after they finish the test they will be working on their Constitution Scavenger Hunt.

I plan to have their tests graded.  We will use class time on Monday to make corrections for 1/2 credit since I only run a class set of tests.
